• General description: Sigma′s mirPremier microRNA Isolation Kit provides a rapid and efficient method for purifying and enriching miRNAs and other small RNAs from diverse biological sources, including mammalian cell cultures, animal tissues, plant tissues, and microbial cultures, without using hazardous organic extractions. microRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of small RNA molecules, about 21 nucleotides (nt) in length, that regulate gene expression in a variety of manners, including translational repression, mRNA cleavage and deadenylation. In addition, the kit also can be used for isolating total RNA if messenger RNA or other large RNAs are of interest. .
• Application: mirPremier® microRNA Isolation Kit has been used to:extract total RNA containing miRNA from grape edible plant derived exosome-like nanoparticles (EPDEN).[1]isolate small RNA from S.sirkka and S. napiecek, and S. arctica.[2]extract miRNA, from frozen rat livers for miRNA analysis.[3]
