• The thiol-reactive pH-sensitive pHrodo™ Green Maleimide dye is suitable for the creation of bioconjugates to study endocytosis and phagocytosis
• pHrodo™ Green dramatically increases fluorescence as the pH of its surroundings become more acidic

• The maleimide reacts with free sulphydryl groups produced by the reduction of cysteines in proteins or peptides
• Maleimides are particularly useful for labeling antibodies as the dye will not attach to the antibody binding site
