• General description: Human IgMs are the initial immunoglobulin isotypes that appear in blood in response to the first exposure to external antigens. IgMs have been implicated in CNS myelin repair and increased secretory IgM levels have been linked to rhino-conjunctivitis . Monoclonal Anti-Human IgM (μ-chain specific)-Alkaline Phosphatase antibody is specific for human IgM. The product does not react with human IgG, IgA or light chains.
• Immunogen: Human IgM isolated from pooled normal human serum
• Application: Anti-Human IgM (μ-chain specific)-Alkaline Phosphatase antibody purified from hybridoma cell culture has been used in immunocytochemistry and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
• Physical form: Solution in 0.05 M Tris buffer, pH 8.0, containing 1 mM MgCl2, 1% bovine serum albumin, 50% glycerol and 15 mM sodium azide
