• General description: DNMT3B is a DNA methyltransferase that is expressed in neural progenitor cells. DNMT3B enzyme regulates DNA methylation patterns during growth. DNMT3B may also modulate immune responses and nerve cell formation. Genetic alterations in DNMT3B have been linked to ICF syndrome, centromere instability and immunodeficiency . Anti-DNMT3B antibody is specific for DNMT3B in humans.
