• General description: NDRG2 (N-myc downstream-regulated gene 2) is a protein encoded by the NDRG2 gene in humans. It is highly expressed in skeletal muscle tissue, brain, liver, and heart.[1]

• Application: Anti-NDRG2 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . • Biochem/physiol Actions: NDRG2 (N-myc downstream-regulated gene 2) is a new tumor suppressor gene and plays an important role in tumor suppression in several cancers or cancer cell lines.[2] The gene plays a crucial role in controlling tumor growth.[3] It functions as one of the candidate genes in pancreatic carcinogenesis and physiological roles in neuroblastoma cell proliferation. It may act as a candidate for the treatment of neuroblastoma in children.
