• General description: Fascin-1 or FSCN1 is an actin binding protein that is induced in mature dendritic cells. FSCN1 is not homologous to other actin-binding proteins and is not expressed in macrophages and neutrophils. Fascin-1 can be used as a prognostic biomarker for hepatocellular cancer . Anti-FSCN1 antibody is specific for FSCN1 in humans.
