• General description: RBM47 (RNA binding motif protein 47) is an mRNA-interacting protein. It is composed of three classical RNA recognition motifs (RRM domains). It is a homolog of the RNA-editing proteins Apobec1 complementation factor (A1CF) and hnRNP-Q.
• Immunogen: RNA-binding protein 47 recombinant protein epitope signature tag (PrEST)
• Application: Anti-RBM47 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . • Biochem/physiol Actions: RBM47 (RNA binding motif protein 47) suppresses the breakdown rate of mRNA. This causes accumulation of protein inside cells, leading to reduced tumor growth. It is under-expressed in metastatic tumor, and has been identified as a breast cancer tumor suppressor.
