• Application: Anti-WIPI1 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . • Biochem/physiol Actions: WIPI1 (WD repeat domain, phosphoinositide interacting 1) gene encodes a WD40 repeat protein that contains a 7-bladed beta-propeller structure and a conserved motif that interacts with phospholipids. It localizes to early autophagosomes and functions in autophagosome formation. It is also involved in biogenesis of melanosomes.
