• General description: GATAD2B (GATA zinc finger domain containing 2B) is a subunit of the Mi-2/NuRD complex belonging to the p66 family. It is expressed in several fetal and adult tissues and cell lines.

• Biochem/physiol Actions: GATAD2B (GATA zinc finger domain containing 2B) plays a vital role in the methylation dependent MBD2 (Methyl-CpG-binding domain protein 2)-mediated transcriptional repression, and acetylation of histone tails. It can also interact with the MBD3 during transcriptional control.
