• General description: Keratin 1, type II (KRT1) is a protein of the cytoplasmic intermediate filament expressed in keratinocytes. KRT1 has an amino-terminal domain, a non-helical carboxy terminal domain and two rod domains. The gene encoding this protein is localized on human chromosome 12.
• Immunogen: Keratin, type II cytoskeletal 1 recombinant protein epitope signature tag (PrEST)
