• General description: DNA damage regulated autophagy modulator 2 (DRAM2) is a transmembrane protein. It is located in the inner segments of photoreceptors and surface of retinal pigment epithelial cells. DRAM2 is mainly present in the lysosomes.
• Immunogen: Transmembrane protein 77 recombinant protein epitope signature tag (PrEST)
• Application: Anti-DRAM2 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . • Biochem/physiol Actions: DNA damage regulated autophagy modulator 2 (DRAM2) may be involved in the induction of autophagy and in photoreceptor renewal. Studies have shown that DRAM2 is down-regulated in ovarian tumors and it may play a role in enhancing the rate of cell survival in tumors.
