• General description: GUCD1 (Guanylyl cyclase domain containing 1) is a highly conserved ubiquitous protein with abundant expression in different tissues. Its upregulated expression have been found in liver tissues during early liver regeneration. It consists of a guanylyl cyclase 2 domain. The study proposes that GUCD1 may be involved in the regulation of normal and abnormal cell growth in the liver.
