• General description: Proline rich 4 (PRR4) is encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 12p13.2. PRR4 is predominantly expressed in the acinar cells of human lacrimal gland, salivary glands and submucosal glands. The encoded protein belongs to the proline rich protein family.
