Description

• General description: NR4A2 is encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 2q24.1.
• Specificity: Anti-NR4A2 specifically recognizes human NR4A2.
• Application: Anti-NR4A2 antibody produced in rabbit has also been used in immunohistochemistry (IHC).[1]
• Biochem/physiol Actions: Nuclear receptor subfamily 4 group A member 2 (NR4A2) acts as an activator of tyrosine hydroxylase. It is crucial for the process of DNA repair by melanocortin-1 receptor.
• Physical form: Solution in 0.01 M phos­phate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
• Storage and Stability: For continuous use, store at 2–8 °C for up to one month. For extended storage, freeze in working aliquots. Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Storage in “frost-free” freezers is also not recommended. If slight turbidity occurs upon prolonged storage, clarify the solution by centrifugation before use. Working dilutions should be discarded if not used within 12 hours.
