• General description: Dengue virus is an arthropod borne flavivirus. Dengue virus (DENV) is a human pathogen, known to cause one of the major illness, dengue fever (DF) in humans. DENV belongs to the Flaviviridae family. The virus attaches and enters the host cell with the help of a major envelope protein glycoprotein, E. The dengue envelope protein sequence consists of two putative glycosaminoglycan-binding motifs at the carboxy terminus.
• Immunogen: Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of Dengue virus Envelope protein.
• Application: Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: ICC/IF: 1:100-1:2000, WB: 1:500-1:3000. Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the end user.
