• General description: Human leukocyte antigen A α-chain (HLA-A2) is encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 6p22.1. HLA-A belongs to the class I molecules of HLa family. The protein structure consists of two polypeptide chains, heavy chain and the non-covalently attached light chain.
• Immunogen: HLA-A2 solubilized by papain
• Application: The reagent is designed for Flow Cytometry analysis. Suggested working dilution for Flow Cytometry is 5-10 μg/mL of sample. Indicated dilution is recommended starting point for use of this product. Working concentrations should be determined by the investigator.
• Biochem/physiol Actions: Human leukocyte antigen A α-chain (HLA-A2) plays a major role in peptide antigen presentation. The encoded protein interacts with cytotoxic T cells (CTL) and facilitates the identification of peptide derived from the influenza matrix protein.
