  • Specificity: Clone 1D12 is a ZooMAb® Rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically detects NQO1. It targets an epitope within 25 amino acids from the C-terminal region.
  • Immunogen: KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to 25 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human NAD(P)H dehydrogenase [quinone] 1 (NQO1).

  • Target description: NAD(P)H dehydrogenase [quinone] 1 (UniProt: P15559; also known as EC:1.6.5.2, Azoreductase, DT-diaphorase, DTD, Menadione reductase, NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase 1, Phylloquinone reductase, Quinone reductase 1, QR1, NQO1) is encoded by the NQO1 (also known as DIA4, NMOR1) gene (Gene ID: 1728) in human. NQO1 is a highly inducible, homodimeric, FAD containing quinone reductase that catalyzes the 2-electron reduction of a broad range of quinones and plays a role in cellular adaptation to stress. It serves as a quinone reductase in connection with conjugation reactions of hydroquinons involved in detoxification pathways as well as in biosynthetic processes such as the vitamin K-dependent g-carboxylation of glutamate residues in prothrombin synthesis. It can accept electrons from both NADH and NADPH with equal efficiency. Its activity can be induced by oxidative stress and offers protection against redox cycling and reactive oxygen species. It also protects a wide range of proteins, including p53, from proteasomal degradation. NQO1 is shown to be expressed at higher levels in epithelial tissues, vascular endothelium, and adipocytes. It is also expressed at higher levels in many solid tumors. It has been shown to stabilize many proteins, including the p53, by inhibiting their proteasomal degradation. This ZooMAbZooMAb® recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals.   • Physical form: Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS, 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. The PBS/trehalose components in the ZooMAb formulation can have the appearance of a semi-solid (bead like gel) after lyophilization. This is a normal phenomenon. Please follow the recommended reconstitution procedure in the data sheet to dissolve the semi-solid, bead-like, gel-appearing material. The resulting antibody solution is completely stable and functional as proven by full functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 μL.
  • Reconstitution: 300 μg/mL after reconstitution at 25 μL per vial. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.
  • Storage and Stability: Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
