Description

  • General description: Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a member of the epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) family. It is a single-chain transmembrane glycoprotein. EGFR comprises an extracellular ligand-binding ectodomain, a short juxtamembrane section, a transmembrane domain, a tyrosine kinase domain, tyrosine-containing C-terminal tail.[1] Overexpression of EGFR is observed in breast cancer cells.[2]
  • Immunogen: Recombinant Human EGFR
  • Application: Human EGFR / ErbB1 ELISA Kit has been used in the estimation of epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFR) from human epithelial cells.[3] It has also been used in the detection of EGFR from patient plasma/serum and exosomes isolated from human prostate cancer cells LNCaP xenografts.[4]
  • Other Notes: A sample Certificate of Analysis is available for this product. Please type the word sample in the text box provided for lot number.
