Description
- General description: Crude mixture of RNases.Dry powder (prepared from crystallized ribonuclease).
- Specificity: Heat inactivation: 1 mM EDTA
- Application: RNase has been used in DNA ladder assay.[2]
- Unit Definition: One unit is the enzyme activity that causes a decrease in absorbance of A0 to A1 within 1 minute under the assay conditions; A0 to A1 corresponds to the total conversion, A1 being the final absorbance.
- Preparation Note: Activator: PK requires Mg2+ (or Mn2+, Co2+) and K+ (or NH4+, Rb+) for full activity.Working solution: It is recommended to dissolve the RNase (1 mg/ml) in water or TE buffer, pH 7.5.
- Other Notes: For life science research only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
