• Application: Chemical and morphological analysis of explanted polyurethane vascular prostheses: the challenge of removing fixed adhering tissue.: This study details the use of potassium hydroxide solution for chemical analysis in the examination of explanted polyurethane vascular prostheses, focusing on challenges related to removing tissue that remains adhered to the biomaterials (Zhang et al., 1996). (Zhang et al., 1996).
