  • MA1-10881 has been successfully used in Western blot and immunoprecipitation applications
  • The MA1-10881 immunogen is Fusion protein of NR3A amino acids 780-914 from the extracellular III-IV loop
  • Grin3a is an NMDA (N-methyl-D-aspartate) receptor subtype of glutamate-gated ion channels with reduced single-channel conductance, low calcium permeability and low voltage-dependent sensitivity to magnesium
  • Grin3a is mediated by glycine and may play a role in the development of dendritic spines
  • Further, Grin3a may play a role in PPP2CB-NMDAR mediated signaling mechanism
  • Grin3a belongs to the superfamily of glutamate-regulated ion channels, and function in physiological and pathological processes in the central nervous system
  • Grin3a shows greater than 90% identity to the corresponding subunit in rat
  • Studies in the knockout mouse deficient in Grin3a suggest that the protein may be involved in the development of synaptic elements by modulating NMDA receptor activity
  • Diseases associated with GRIN3A include Lingual-Facial-Buccal Dyskinesia.
