MYBBP1A is a powerful negative regulator of PPAR gamma coactivator 1 alpha (PGC-1 alpha) by p38 MAPK and also acts as a nucleocytoplasmic shuttling protein that utilizes CRM1-dependent and independent nuclear export pathways.
