- Preparation: Produced in BALB/c mice immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIP-1alpha (CCL3)
- Anti-Human MIP-1alpha (CCL3)-specific antibody was purified from cell culture by Protein G affinity chromatography
- Sandwich ELISA: Assuming 100 μL/well, a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/mL of this antibody will detect at least 2000 pg/mL of Recombinant Human MIP-1alpha (CCL3) when used with PeproTech Biotinylated Antigen Affinity Purified Anti-Human MIP-1alpha (CCL3) (500-P38GBT) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 1.0-2.0 μg/mL
- Western Blot: To detect Human MIP-1alpha (CCL3) by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/mL
- When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human MIP-1alpha (CCL3) is 1.0-2.0 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions
- Both MIP-1alpha and MIP-1beta are structurally and functionally related CC chemokines
- They participate in host response to invading bacterial, viral, parasite and fungal pathogens by regulating the trafficking and activation state of selected subgroups of inflammatory cells (e.g

- Additionally, MIP-1alpha and MIP-1beta have also been shown to be potent chemoattractants for B cells, eosinophils and dendritic cells
