• Description: The BV10A4H2 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD135, also known as Flk2/Flt3
• A member of the tyrosine kinase receptor family, this 135-150 kDa molecule is expressed by multipotential progenitor cells including primitive B cell and myelomonocytic progenitors in fetal liver and adult bone marrow
• Applications Reported: The BV10A4H2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis
• Applications Tested: This BV10A4H2 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of REH cell line
• This can be used at 5 μL (0.5 μg) per test
• A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL
• Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test
• Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red Laser
• Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered
• FLT3 is a tyrosine protein kinase that is a member of the growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase family
• The receptor is activated by binding of the fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand to the extracellular domain, which induces homodimer formation in the plasma membrane leading to autophosphorylation of the receptor
• The activated receptor kinase subsequently phosphorylates and activates multiple cytoplasmic effector molecules in pathways involved in apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells in bone marrow
• Mutations that result in the constitutive activation of this receptor result in acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
