Description

  • Description: This 9E2 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD335, which is also known as NKp46
  • Expressed on NK cells, CD335 is a member of the natural cytotoxicity receptor family that also includes NKp30 and NKp44
  • This type I transmembrane glycoprotein is involved in activating and expanding resting NK cells following interaction with dendritic cells to eliminate tumor and virus-infected (e.g., influenza) cells
  • CD335 also interacts with pancreatic beta cells during the development of type I diabetes
  • The 9E2 antibody has been reported to induce cytotoxicity
  • Applications Reported: This 9E2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis
  • Applications Tested: This 9E2 antibody has been pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells
  • This may be used at 5 μL (0.125 μg) per test
  • A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL
  • Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test
  • Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 519 nm; Laser: Blue Laser NKp46 (CD335, NCR1, ) is a cytotoxicity-activating receptor that may contribute to the increased efficiency of activated natural killer (NK) cells to mediate tumor cell lysis
