- G protein-coupled receptor GPR49 has been reported to be expressed in brain, skeletal muscle, placenta, and spinal cord
- ESTs have been isolated from normal human brain (amygdala), embryo, and placenta libraries and from human germ cell, uterus, and brain libraries
