- Hexanoyl-lysine (HEL) is a novel lipid peroxidation biomarker which is derived from the oxidation of omega-6 unsaturated fatty acid
- HEL may be used as a biomarker in omega-6 PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acid) oxidation in living organisms.
