  • Tested using citrulline conjugated Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA)
  • Citrulline is an amino acid that is not incorporated into proteins during synthesis but is generated within proteins by the deimination of arginine
  • Citrulline occurs normally in many proteins, such as Myelin basic protein (MBP) while others, such as fibrin become citrullinated during inflammation or apoptosis.
