  • The antibody detects a 130 kDa* protein corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of mDia3 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of human Jurkat treated with calyculin A
  • This reactivity is not observed after lambda phosphatase treatment
  • The antibody may also detect phosphorylated mDia1/Diap1 (Ser-171) and mDia2/Diap3 (Ser-202)
  • The product of this gene belongs to the diaphanous subfamily of the formin homology family of proteins
  • This gene may play a role in the development and normal function of the ovaries
  • Defects in this gene have been linked to premature ovarian failure 2
  • Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
