- Application: 16-NBD-16:0 Coenzyme A ((N-[(7-nitro-2-1,3-benzoxadiazol-4-yl)-methyl]amino) palmitoyl Coenzyme A) has been used:as a fluorescent substrate in fluorescent diacylglycerol acyltransferase (DGAT) assay[2]as a fluorescent analog to study the membrane translocation of lipids and to track palmitoyl-CoA uptake[3]as a component in wash buffer to measure autoacylation of the enzymes in palmitate transferase assay[1]
