- Application: 22:0 PC may be used:to study its effects on non-amyloidogenic processing of amyloid precursor protein (APP)/α-secretase activity[2] to prepare a lipid monolayer to study whether ligand is specifically targeted to domains containing Cu(II)-iminodiacetate lipid (Cu-PSIDA)[3]as a lipid standard for the quantification of lipid species from lipid droplets by hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography-high performance liquid chromatography (HILIC-HPLC) [4]
- Biochem/physiol Actions: The physical properties of membranes can be modulated with the help of fatty acyl configuration of phosphatidylcholines. They act as a vital source for eicosanoids.[1]
