- Application: N-Lauroylsarcosine sodium salt has been used as one of the components of the lysing solution in the cornet assay.[1] It has been used for lysing protoplasts in the process of chromosomal DNA isolation form Streptococcus mutans.[2]
- Biochem/physiol Actions: N-Lauroylsarcosine is an anionic surfactant which also has protein denaturant potency.[3] In addition, it has been shown as a microbicide for sexually transmitted diseases.[4]
