- General description: Isoacteoside, also known as Isoverbascoside, is a phenylethanoid glycoside, a bioactive natural compound commonly derived from plants such as Pedicularis striata, Plantago australis, Paulownia coreana, Caryopteris incana, Acacia lasiopetala, Maytenus laevis, and Spergula japonica. Current research indicates that this plant metabolite is an inhibitor and may possess diverse biological activities, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and neuroprotective properties.
