Description

• General description: Macrophages and granulocytes express Signal regulatory protein (SIRP), which is a transmembrane glycoprotein involved in the down regulation of tyrosine kinase receptor signal transduction induced by cell adhesion, growth factors or insulin. They are immunoglobulin-like cell surface receptor for CD47. By CD47 binding there is a negative regulation of phagocytosis, mast cell activation and dendritic cell activation that prevents maturation of immature dendritic cells and inhibits cytokine production by mature dendritic cells.
• Specificity: Expected to cross-react with rat and mouse.
• Immunogen: Rat peritoneal macrophages.
• Application: Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections and Formalin fixed, paraffin embedded tissue sections (requires trypsin or pronase pre-treatment).Western Blotting: A previous lot of this antibody was used in western blot. Flow cytometry: 1:100-1:200 of a previous lot was used. (Use 10 μL of working dilution for 10^6 cells in 100 μL).Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.
• Quality: Routinely evaluated by Immunocytochemistry on Macrophages/Granulocytes.Immunocytochemistry Analysis: Confolcal fluorescent analysis of Macrophages/ Granulocytes using anti-Macrophages/ Granulocytes mouse monoclonal antibody.
