Description

• General description: IgM consists of five basic Ig units, that are connected by a joining (j) chain. It has ten antigen binding sites. It is present on the surface of B lymphocytes.
• Specificity: This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by a delipidation and defibrination. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against Dog IgM and Dog Serum. No reaction was observed against Dog IgG.
• Immunogen: Dog IgM mu heavy chain
• Biochem/physiol Actions: IgM shows high efficiency in agglutination. The classical complement pathway is activated by IgM/IgG or by the accumulation of these antibodies.

• Physical form: Supplied in 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2
• Reconstitution: Reconstitute with 2.0 mL deionized water (or equivalent).
