• Specificity: Clone 3C10 is a ZooMAb rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically detects UL16-binding protein-3 (ULBP-3). It targets an epitope within 21 amino acids from the N-terminal region.
• Immunogen: KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to 21 amino acids from the N-terminal region of mature human U16-binding protein 3 (ULBP-3).
• Application: Anti-ULBP-3, clone 3C10 ZooMAb, Cat. No. ZRB1033, is a recombinant Rabbit monoclonal antibody that specifically targets ULBP-3 and is tested for use in Affinity Binding Assay, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, and Western Blotting.
• Target description: UL16-binding protein 3 (UniProt: Q9BZM4; also known as ALCAN-gamma, NKG2D ligand 3, N2DL-3, NKG2DL3, Retinoic acid early transcript 1N, ULBP3) is encoded by the ULBP3 (also known as N2DL3, RAET1N) gene (Gene ID: 79465) in human. ULBPs are GPI-linked glycoproteins that belong to the extended MHC class I family. They are known to stimulate cytokine and chemokine production from NK cells. ULBP3 is a GPI-anchor protein that binds and activates NKG2D receptor, mediating natural killer (NK) cell cytotoxicity. It is synthesized with a signal peptide (aa 1-29) and a propeptide (aa 218-244), that are subsequently cleaved off to produce the mature form (aa 30-217). The domain structure of ULBP3 differs from other conventional MHC class I molecules in that it does not contain the alpha 3 domain and the transmembrane segment. It is composed of only the alpha 1-alpha2 domain. Overexpression of ULBP3 has been reported in several tumor cell lines and serum samples from tumor subjects contain elevated levels of soluble form of ULBP3. Elevated levels of soluble ULBP-3 can induce protein tyrosine phosphorylation and activation of several protein kinases, including JAK2, MAP kinases, and PI3-kinase/Akt. This ZooMAb recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals. • Physical form: Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS with 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 μL.
• Reconstitution: 0.03 mg/mL after reconstitution at 25 μL per vial. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.
• Storage and Stability: Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
