• Specificity: Clone 2C2 is a ZooMAb rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically detects Serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2B catalytic subunit gamma isoform (PPP3CC). It targets an epitope within 17 amino acids from the C-terminal region.
• Immunogen: KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to 17 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human Serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2B catalytic subunit gamma isoform (PPP3CC).
• Application: Anti-PPP3CC, clone 2C2 ZooMAb, Cat. No. ZRB1443, is a recombinant Rabbit monoclonal antibody that specifically targets PPP3CC and is tested in Affinity Binding Assay, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blotting.
• Target description: Astrocytic phosphoprotein PEA-15 (UniProt: Q15121; also known as 15 kDa phosphoprotein enriched in astrocytes, Phosphoprotein enriched in diabetes, PED) is encoded by the PEA15 gene (Gene ID: 8682) in human.PEA-15 is a cytoplasmic protein that is ubiquitously expressed. Higher expressions are found in heart, brain, muscle, and adipose tissue. Higher expression oF PEA-15 has been reported in tissues from individuals with type 2 diabetes. PEA-15 blocks Ras-mediated inhibition of integrin activation and modulates the ERK MAP kinase cascade. It is reported to Inhibit RPS6KA3 activities by retaining it in the cytoplasm. It is also shown to inhibits both TNFRSF6- and TNFRSF1A-mediated caspase 8 activity and apoptosis. It also regulates glucose transport by controlling both the content of SLC2A1 glucose transporters on the plasma membrane and the insulin-dependent trafficking of SLC2A4 from the cell interior to the surface. PEA-15 is phosphorylated by protein kinase C and calcium-calmodulin-dependent protein kinase. These phosphorylation events are modulated by neurotransmitters or hormones. PEA-15 has two microtubule binding sites (aa 98-107 and 122-129). This ZooMAb recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals.
• Physical form: Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in lyophilized from PBS with 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 μL.
• Reconstitution: 0.3 mg/mL after reconstitution at 25 μL per vial. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.
• Storage and Stability: Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
