• Specificity: Clone 1G2 is a ZooMAb® Rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically detects Rab10. It targets an epitope within 23 amino acids from the C-terminal region.
• Immunogen: KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to 23 amino acids from the C-terminal region of Human Rab10.

• Target description: Ras-related protein Rab-10 (UniProt: P61026; also known as Rab10 ) is encoded by the RAB10 gene (Gene ID: 10890) in human. Rab10, a member of the Rab family of small GTPases, is a key regulator of intracellular membrane trafficking, from the formation of transport vesicles to their fusion with membranes. It is mainly involved in the biosynthetic transport of proteins from the Golgi to the plasma membrane. It also plays a specific role in asymmetric protein transport to the plasma membrane. Rab10 localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and to dynamic ER-associated structures that track along microtubules and mark the position of new ER tubule growth. Depletion of Rab10 alters ER morphology that results in fewer ER tubules. In the brain, Rab10 is expressed in all cell types. It is activated by phosphorylation at threonine 73 by LRRK2. The phosphorylated Rab10 is reported to colocalize with neurofibrillary tangles in Alzheimer s disease brains. In a cellular model of amyloid precursor protein (APP) metabolism, silencing of RAB10 gene is reported to lead to a significant reduction in Aβ42 and the Aβ42/40 ratio. • Physical form: Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS, 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. The PBS/trehalose components in the ZooMAb formulation can have the appearance of a semi-solid (bead like gel) after lyophilization. This is a normal phenomenon. Please follow the recommended reconstitution procedure in the data sheet to dissolve the semi-solid, bead-like, gel-appearing material. The resulting antibody solution is completely stable and functional as proven by full functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 μL.
• Reconstitution: 300 μg/mL after reconstitution at 25 μL per vial. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.
• Storage and Stability: Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
