  • Specificity: Clone 1M14 is a ZooMAb® Rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically detects TNF receptor-associated factor 6 (TRAF6). It targets an epitope within 17 amino acids from the C-terminal region.
  • Immunogen: KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to 17 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human TNF receptor-associated factor 6 (TRAF6).

  • Target description: TNF receptor-associated factor 6 (UniProt: Q9Y4K3; also known as EC:2.3.2.27, E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRAF6, Interleukin-1 signal transducer, RING finger protein 85, RING-type E3 ubiquitin transferase TRAF6) is encoded by the TRAF6 (also known as RNF85) gene (Gene ID: 7189) in human. TRAF6 is a RING-type E3 ligase that plays a vital role in immune signal transduction pathways. It is composed of an N-terminal RING domain followed by at least four zinc finger domains (ZF1-4), a central coiled-coil domain, and a C-terminal TRAF-C domain. It catalyzes lysine 63-linked polyubiquitination using the Ubc13/Uev1A complex as the E2. It participates in many protective responses in immune and non-immune cells. TRAF6 is detected in the nuclei of some aggressive B-cell lymphoma cell lines as well as in the nuclei of both resting and activated T- and B-lymphocytes. Upon receptor activation, TRAF6 is recruited to upstream signal transduction complexes and activates downstream IkB kinase (IKK) or MAP kinases leading to the activation of NF-kB and AP-1 transcription factors. This ZooMAbZooMAb® recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals.   • Physical form: Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS, 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. The PBS/trehalose components in the ZooMAb formulation can have the appearance of a semi-solid (bead like gel) after lyophilization. This is a normal phenomenon. Please follow the recommended reconstitution procedure in the data sheet to dissolve the semi-solid, bead-like, gel-appearing material. The resulting antibody solution is completely stable and functional as proven by full functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 μL.
  • Reconstitution: 300 μg/mL after reconstitution at 25 μL per vial. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.
  • Storage and Stability: Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
