- Marginal zone B cells are an anatomical B cell compartment located in the spleen at the area between red and white pulp
- Marginal zone B cells serve as a first line of defense against blood-borne antigens in a T cell-independent manner
- Marginal zone B cells can also be phenotyped as B cells that are IgM high, IgD low, CD21 high and CD23 low
- Applications Reported: This HIS57 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, and immunohistochemical staining of frozen tissue sections
- Applications Tested: This HIS57 antibody has been tested by immunohistochemistry of frozen rat tissue and can be used at less than or equal to 5 μg/mL
- It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest
- Purity: Greater than 90%, as determined by SDS-PAGE
- Aggregation: Less than 10%, as determined by HPLC
- Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered
