  • Description: TNF-beta (LTX-21) is a mouse monoclonal antibody raised against native and recombinant TNF-beta of human origin.BMS105 specifically recognizes natural TNF-beta as well as recombinant TNF-beta (16 kDa and 18 kDa form)
  • The antibody can be used to stain TNF-beta producing cells
  • Immunoperoxidase or immunofluorescence techniques are applicable
  • BMS105 is also suitable as primary antibody in staining for FACS analysis,for for Western blot and ELISA application
  • BMS105FI can be used for direct staining of cells

  • TNF beta, a member of the tumor necrosis factor family, is a cytokine produced by lymphocytes
  • The protein is highly inducible, secreted, and forms heterotrimers with lymphotoxin-beta which anchor lymphotoxin-alpha to the cell surface
  • This protein also mediates a large variety of inflammatory, immunostimulatory, and antiviral responses, is involved in the formation of secondary lymphoid organs during development and plays a role in apoptosis
  • Genetic variations in this gene are associated with susceptibility to leprosy type 4 and psoriatic arthritis.
