• Antibodies to progesterone and glucocorticoid receptors are also able to co-immunoprecipitate the MVP
• Reportedly, the lung-resistance related protein (LRP) is identical to human MVP
• LRP is overexpressed in many neoplastic tissues and cell lines indicating a poor response to chemotherapy
