• General description: Product Source: E.coli
• Application: For most in vitro applications, SCF exerts its biological activity in the concentration range of 0.2 to 20.0 ng/mL. Responding cells are (partial list): Stem cells, BM precursor cells.
• Physical form: The sterile filtered solution was lyophilized from 10mM Acetic acid.
• Storage and Stability: The lyophilized powder, though stable for a few weeks at room temperature, is best stored at -20°C. Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. This solution can be further diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 2-8°C for 1 week or -20°C for future use. Reconstituted SCF should be stored in undiluted aliquots at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
• Analysis Note: Specific Activity: Chemicon′s human SCF is fully biologically active when compared to standards.The ED50 was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of human TF-1 cells is ≤ 2 ng/mL
