• General description: Product Source: E. coli
• Application: Concentration Range for most in vitro applications is 1.0 - 100 ng/mL. Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

• Physical form: Lyophilized protein from 10 mM Sodium Phosphate, pH 6.5, containing no additives.
• Storage and Stability: The lyophilized powder, though stable at room temperature, is best stored at -20°C for up to 12 months from date of receipt. After a quick spin, reconstitute with sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. This solution can be diluted into other buffered solutions and stored at 4°C for one week or at -20°C for future use. Reconstituted mouse SCF should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C for up to six months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
• Analysis Note: Specific Activity: Murine SCF is biologically active when compared to standards.The ED(50), as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of the human TF-1 cell line is ≤ 10 ng/mL
