- Biochem/physiol Actions: Growth factor ligand for ErbB3 and ErbB4 receptor tyrosine kinases. The binding of HRG results in receptor dimerization and receptor trans-autophosphorylation. The phosphorylated receptors recruit cellular signaling proteins, initiating signaling pathways.
