It is classified into four subtypes, including αS1-, αS2-, β-, and κ-caseins.[1]Sigma’s 10x Blocking Buffer is a casein-based blocking agent routinely used to reduce non-specific binding of detection reagents[1] to the Northern and Southern Blot membranes.
