• Description The EpiJET Bisulfite Conversion Kit is designed for simple and reliable bisulfite conversion of DNA for methylation analysis
• The kit integrates the thermal DNA denaturation and the bisulfite conversion reactions into one step
• The unmethylated cytosines are deaminated and converted to uracils using powdered Modification Reagent that has been reconstituted with the two Modification Solutions
• This step can be performed following long or short protocol, depending on the downstream application
• The converted DNA is bound to a membrane for on-column desulfonation and subsequent purification steps, and then eluted
• The resulting elution of the converted DNA is suitable for a number of techniques used in methylation status analysis, including PCR, qPCR, COBRA and sequencing.
