• Weber and Black modified Tryptose Glucose Extract Broth by incorporating lecithin and polysorbate 80 as a result of their study on quaternary ammonium compounds 1,2
• Letheen Broth Modified is based on the formula in the Bacteriological Analytical Manual for use in the microbiological testing of cosmetics 3
• It is recommended by the Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC) for cultivation of microorganisms from cosmetic samples 4
