• General description: PGR (progesterone receptor) is an ovarian steroid hormone belonging to the large superfamily of nuclear receptor transcription factors. It exists in three isoforms, A, B, and C.
• Immunogen: Progesterone receptor recombinant protein epitope signature tag (PrEST)
• Application: Anti-PGR antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . • Biochem/physiol Actions: PGR is highly involved in activation of cytosolic signaling pathway and ligand-activated transcriptional processes. It plays a pivotal role in various reproductive events during pregnancy. It is also essentially required for the mammary gland development.
