- Specifically detects PhosphoDetect™ JAK1 (pTyr 1022/1023 ) Clone: in Human, Mouse samples, and it is validated for Immuno Blotting In response to cytokines or related factors (interferons, interleukins, etc.), JAKs are activated via phosphorylation at 2 adjacent tyrosine residues, as well as perhaps one or more serine residues
- Activation of JAKs can lead to the phosphorylation of STAT (signal transducers and activators of transcription) proteins, which dimerize and translocate to the nucleus
- JAK1 is required for signal transduction through IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, GM-CSF, and interferon receptors.
